Rep. Adam Smith visits the Resilience Hub

Posted on September 14, 2022November 16, 2022 By Paul Finley No Comments on Rep. Adam Smith visits the Resilience Hub

We were delighted that U.S. Rep. Adam Smith recently visited the future South Beacon Hill Resilience Hub on the campus of Bethany United Church of Christ.

Smith posted this tweet:

Yesterday I was in Beacon Hill – a neighborhood impacted by aviation-related air emissions – with several community members to visit an urban agriculture hub and learn about the climate resiliency efforts at the hub, including electrification and weatherization efforts.

And he added this one:

Our solution to the climate crisis is clear: reduce greenhouse gas emissions and invest in clean and renewable energy sources. This Beacon Hill Resilience Hub demonstrates exactly how we can achieve our clean energy future.
